Beginning in Shanghai in 2009, Ringwise Boxing is devoted to developing the sport of boxing in Shanghai & China.

 With over 40 years experience in all aspects of boxing, you could not be in better hands! Paul boxed in the amateur ranks at 13 years old as a schoolboy, junior and  as a senior, winning theYorkshire championship, the North Eastern counties championship and reaching the finals of the NABC national UK championships. Turning professional, he boxed the likes of former junior light weight champion of the World & hall of famer,  Cornelius Boza Edwards, British Empire & European champion,  and World title contender, Najib Daho and others who would go on to be champions. When he finished boxing Paul turned his hand to training and had a successful amateur gym in the UK and hopes more than anything, that he helped turn the lives around of some of the kids he trained. Leaving the UK, Paul came to China  with one thing on his mind.....To make boxing as popular as possible in this  great country! With contacts from all over the World - Managers, trainers, matchmakers & promoters and more importantly, the boxers themselves.....all  wanting to be a part of this exciting, new adventure.  It was also  a great pleasure working in Shanghai last year with a lady by the name of Michele Aboro. Michele is the former WIBF Super bantamweight champion of the World and has decided to make Shanghai her home, where she is at the moment, training people at the Golden Gloves Boxing Gym. I look forward to us both working together again in the near future on various boxing related projects.
